why "museum" ?

Children’s museums support the play as learning model. They foster curiosity through hands-on interactive exhibits and activities that encourage exploration, discovery, and creativity. The Garden Museum is a take on the classic Children’s Museum model, drawing inspiration from forest schools, Montessori, and Waldorf qualities. Each playspace and activity offers tactile-forward, hands-on opportunities for growth and fun.

Sessions are thoughtfully designed to engage both children and their caregivers. Modeled after the hands-on approach of a children’s museum, our activities encourage playful collaboration, exploration, and learning. Caregivers are invited to actively participate, guiding and supporting children participants while experiencing the joy of curiosity and creativity together.

Hi, I'm Jessica

I’m the session curator, nature play facilitator, or “garden grownup” leading the activities and learning. As a mama of 2, I’ve drawn inspiration from our outside play sessions and the magic that happens in our own little garden. As a local teacher with a Masters in education, I see what kids of all ages need to thrive and grow.

As parents, I know we are constantly seeking out unique, fun experiences for our family in between the busy schedules. I’m here to help create special opportunities of nature learning, tinkering, and time for your own family and friends to connect so you can enjoy more of these meaningful moments together.

We bond with our littles by playing side by side, being in the moment, and keeping our hands and hearts happy. We bond with our bigs through creating, exploring curiosities, and staying involved. I am passionate about spreading the joy of nature learning and bringing the nature back in play.

See you in the garden ✌️
